Deep Diving with Facebook
Earlier this week Modus staff had front row seats at a Social Media update given by Paul Borrud, Facebook's region head. He asked us to listen without fear and look through the lens of our friends to get started then iterate as 25k Fans influence 3m Friends. He recommended to structure a conversational calender with cadence and frequency, asking questions using ? not ! Paul advised to claim your 'Place' within their new Place feature before squatters do.
Paul also launched the latest version of their Facebook analytics tool - Insights for Websites. Beyond likes and shares, new distribution metrics of impressions and referral clicks track through demographics to download to excel and .csv format into any dashboard to allow for real-time optimisation of user engagement.

10/3/11 - Facebook Pages for Businesses differ from Facebook Profile Pages. There has been frequent and radical changes made to Facebook Fan Pages with the mandatory change-over implemented 10/3/11.
